We provide counselling to mothers with young tamariki who are experiencing mental health challenges including postnatal depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Our Maternal Mental Health Counselling is designed to support mothers through the emotional and psychological challenges of pregnancy and postpartum. Our clients highly value this service for its compassionate approach and our counsellors are trained in a range of therapeutic models and work in a variety of ways with each individual providing personalised support.

One of our counsellor’s clients said:
“(My counsellor) was always so attentive and always made sure I was OK and felt heard. At first I thought therapy was daunting, but boy was I wrong. I appreciate (my counsellor) and Dayspring Trust for the work they do. Today I can say that I'm leaving and I'm able to manage my anxiety which I never thought I'd say if you asked me this a couple months ago. (My counsellor) has been amazing and I’ll be forever grateful to her.
Thank you so much for everything. I could not have done it without you.”
