Help bring change to maternal mental health support

Whilst mental health is recognised in the mainstream, maternal mental health still has stigma and discrimination attached to it. There are a number of ways that we can work together that will have a significant impact on wāhine and their tamariki.

We can tailor partnerships. To discuss partnership opportunities, please email admin@dayspring.org.nz

Strategic Partnership

We want to work with companies with a vision to improve mother and tamariki wellbeing and build mutually beneficial partnerships that have this shared purpose at their core. This could include increasing the public’s awareness of maternal mental health and the inequalities that face certain population and ethnic groups affected by maternal mental health.

We have multiple programmes and projects that we can align with your purpose, or we can work with you to co-create solutions for a shared goal.

Some of the ways we can help build a better future for wāhine and their tamariki include:

  • Provide access to free professional counselling and support groups for wāhine experiencing mental health issues

  • Offer subsidised parenting courses to those most vulnerable parents

  • Facilitate support networks and activity-based groups for mothers to share their experiences and learn new skills

  • Connect mothers and families with essential resources

  • Advocate on behalf of mothers and whānau in need
