Can I bring my child with me?

Yes you can! Dayspring has an onsite Crèche where your child will be in the room beside the support and activity-based groups. You can access your child in the crèche during the group sessions but the group sessions are only for the adults. Click the button below for more information about our crèche.

JOURNALLING & MINDFULLNESS

Dayspring offers a journaling and mindfulness programme every Tuesday during the school term. Journaling can be very beneficial for your mental health. Journaling can be a simple and effective way for mothers to take care of their mental health.

These sessions are a chance for you to have a calm and peaceful space while your child is taken care of in our onsite crèche.

CONNECTION & CRAFT

Connection and Craft sessions offer a warm and welcoming space for mums to explore new skills and connect with other mums navigating similar journeys. It’s an opportunity to share stories or simply take a break from parenting in a relaxed, non-judgemental environment.

Wāhine have embraced and learnt a wide range of creative and practical skills—from making eco-friendly DIY products like soap, kawakawa balm, candles, and laundry detergent, to crafting tukutuku panels. They have also enjoyed calming experiences such as mindfulness colouring and creating seed-filled eye pillows for relaxation.
